Briana is an ASHA certified and Florida state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of experience working with the pediatric population. Briana worked as a Pre-K teaching assistant for several years before undergoing training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). During her time as an RBT, she provided ABA services to children on the Autism Spectrum for three years while working toward becoming an SLP. Briana graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2018 with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
For the last six years as an SLP, she has worked with children in a variety of settings including private practice, in-home, daycares, and public schools. She has provided services to children with various challenges including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, developmental delay, language disorders, articulation, phonological disorder, apraxia of speech, fluency, and pragmatics. Briana believes in a collaborative approach to therapy. She has worked closely with parents as well as other disciplines including ABA, physical, and occupational therapists that are part of her patient's care team in order to provide the most effective services possible for the children and families that she serves.
